CAMP QUEST Has the Highest Concentration of
Individuals Listed in Who's Who in Hell
in the World!
The new book
Who's Who in Hell, A Handbook and International Directory for
Freethinkers, Humanists, Naturalists, Rationalists, and Non-Theists,
by Warren Allen Smith (Barricade Books Inc., ISBN 1-56980-158-4, 1260 pages,
price $125) was published just a few weeks before Camp Quest 2000 began. A
copy was brought to the camp by Fred Edwords for all staff members and
counselors to read. One CQ staffer after another found his or her name
listed in the book. Fourteen current Camp Quest counselors and staff members
were listed, as well as five former staff members. From the experience of
Fred and Steve Schafersman, it was quickly concluded that, while in session,
Camp Quest must be the largest concentration of WWIH-listed
individuals in one place on Earth (even more than Amherst, NY, except when
there is a board meeting or a conference).
Camp Quest 2000 staff members and counselors listed in Who's Who in
Hell include the following:

This outstanding concentration of humanists, rationalists, freethinkers,
and nontheists among the counselors and staff members at Camp Quest
guarantees that your secular humanist child will receive the finest
education and individual support in humanism and freethought studies
available anywhere on the planet. Camp Quest is proud that so many of its
staff members have achieved sufficient recognition for their humanist and
freethought activities to earn a personal listing in Who's Who in Hell.
